Kate Bone (formerly known as Kaitlin Huwe) is an actress, singer, and writer with an affinity for shape-shifting, traveling back in time, and offering songs and stories as medicine.

A star on the rise, Kate is fast making a name for herself in Hollywood with several high profile roles including this past summer’s hit Netflix film “Purple Hearts,” opposite Sofia Carson and Nicholas Galitzine. The film remained Netflix’s #1 streaming film for several weeks, with over 220.6 Million views in the first 28 days, and ranked #7 on Netflix's List of Most Watched Films.

Kate has also made memorable guest starring appearances on television including high profile roles on “Seal Team” opposite David Boreanz, “Little America” on Apple TV, “LA’s Finest” opposite Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union, TNT’s drama series “Animal Kingdom,” Comedy Central’s “Workaholics” and “Total Badass Wrestling” for Snapchat.

A proud member of The Road Theatre in Los Angeles, Kate has worked closely with several playwrights to develop new work. She originated the role of "Samantha" in the World Premiere "Through the Eye of A Needle" by Jami Brandli. 

A versatile performer, Kate sings, plays guitar, and has been writing her own songs since age twelve. She now collaborates on several music projects across a wide range of styles including; Alternative Pop, Folk, Americana, Roots, Swing, and Rock.

Additionally, she is known for lending her voice to soundtracks, scores, theme songs, and trailers for film and television projects led by prominent artists including: Sir. Anthony Hopkins, St. Vincent, Carrie Brownstein, and Josh Ruben.

Kate is a graduate of UCLA’s School of Theatre Film and Television. She trained at the famed Groundlings School in LA, is a graduate of the 2-Year Meisner Training at the Baron Brown Studio.
